Certification/Installation Training Sessions

Description: Certification Training is held quarterly. One installation class covers both the Aluminum and Copper Perma-Lock Shingle Lines. These sessions run approximately 1 ½ to 2 days in length. All of the various roof configurations will be covered and you will enjoy a very hands-on experience in a safe environment with one of our most experienced installation crew chiefs. Please plan on bringing your own tools which should consist of the following: hammer, utility knife, tool belt, and 12” or 14” tin snips.

These training sessions are either conducted at our manufacturing facility in Portland, Oregon, or at our corporate headquarters facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Metal Shingle Days

Description: These informational and instructional seminars are held across the United States and Canada. These sessions are approximately two hours in length. Comparisons of the metal shingles that are available on the market today will be made. Pros and Cons of each type of metal roof will be discussed. An overview of the Perma-Lock shingle will be made and an overview of how to install the Perma-Lock Shingles will be presented. There are no hands on learning experiences during the presentation.
